Public Health Expert and Healthcare Advisor to the UN Secretary-General, Dr Giorgi Pkhakadze, says in his social media post that the coronavirus will soon be beaten thanks to highly effective vaccines.
''The numbers say it all.
Look at Israel and Great Britain _ In both countries, the Delta COVID variant dominates, but what do we see?! The mortality rate is rather low in both of them, thanks to the highly effective vaccines.
Irrespective of what people say, the virus is likely to be soon beaten; however, who defeats it first is what does matter.
If we do not take care of ourselves in Georgia, our European and American friends will take care of us in September or October.
Everything will be well. Be safe,'' he wrote.
